Job requirements

What You'll Achieve:

You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.

To ensure success as a senior QA engineer you should have extensive experience in functional and unit tests, analytics and high-level problem-solving skills. A top-notch senior QA engineer ensures the smooth running of the QA department and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards

Relevant experience and mindset:

  • 2 years previous experience as a QA engineer.

  • Experience with functional and unit testing.

  • Experience with Javascript.

  • High-level analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

  • Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements

  • Monitor debugging process results

  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
